Illusion.
It's an awful thing to live in darkness, unable to see the things that other people take for granted.
But if we are lucky, the darkness lifts and we can finally see:
The secret sacrifices made by our friends or the surprising progress made by our mothers
or the unintended consequences of our own actions.....
But there are others who prefer the darkness because there they only see what they choose to see
